After a new installation on CentOS 5.9 I can't seem to get the Report Application Server to start.

SAP Crystal Server 2011  SP4  (14.0.4.738)

Here is about all of the information I have found in the logs:

SIA_trace.000001.glf:|E5D406E20C4142A093F027A5D49294AA3e|2013 09 03 15:08:15.895|-0700|Error| |>>| | |SIA| 4093|  68|CrystalReports2011ReportApplicationServer (Process Agent)| ||||||||||||||||||||com.businessobjects.cad.syslog||Server Intelligence Agent: server CrystalReports2011ReportApplicationServer is considered failed because it has stopped 5 time(s) within 60 minute(s). Please restart this server.

Any ideas for a fix would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all of the helpful information. I ended up getting the RAS started and working properly after following the SAP notes listed below.

Glad that it worked for you. But in any case, this is not a official supported OS. I suggest you should not put this PROD env. In future if you have any issues, SAP will not support it.
