STMS - changing systems Consolidation route to Delivery route

Former Member

Hello guys,

It may be just a simple question but I just want to confirm.

We have the following stms route setup -

DEV--------Consolidation route ----->QAS --------Delivery Route --- > PRD

      ---------Consolidation route ----->VAL

I want to change the transport route of VAL to deliver route like this -

DEV--------Consolidation route ----->QAS --------Delivery Route --- > PRD

                                                          --------Delivery Route --- >VAL

I want to know what would be the impact on the import queue of VAL system.

Please share your thoughts.

Thanks

None really, the only impact is that the transports will only reach VAL after been imported in QAS.

The buffer should stay the same, imported transports will not be re-transported (as far as I remember)

Thanks Guys,

One more question - Is there a way to revert back to old stms settings in case needed?

Thanks

Hi Bill,

Yes, you can. SAVE the present version when ever you want to switch to previous version.

Transport Routes:

GOTO -> Previous Version
