OM Relationships 290 & 741

Hello,

In our HR implementation we never had the requirement of identifying HR Administrators via OM rlationship so far. However now as we are implemtning more and more P&Fs, it has become imperative to identify the admins from a workflow perspective.

We have two types of HR teams - HR BPs (responsible for country specific talent management) and Shared Services (responsible for global operational data maintainance).

I am trying to come up with the best of identifying them via relationships. I see the 741 relationship that can be tied from HR BP position to the Org Units they are responsible for. This should take care of all talent management activities.

Can we also use 290 relationship in parallel for the Shared Service professionals? Again tie this this relationship between S to top most Org in the company?

This way, on all workflows we can identify who to send the work items to for next step in a process.

Is there any issue with using both together for 2 different reasons? If there is a better way of handling this, could you please share?

Hi Nakul,

290 between S and O should work for that O and below as per the evaluation path. The principle is similar. I would recommend trying it in your development system.
