Problem while attaching master data source to generic datasource

Hi All,

I have created a generic datasource using three tables in crm systems. the tables are CMSD_CB, CMAD_LO_PRICE AND CMSD_LO_QUANT.

i have loaded data to bw system and want to attach 0ORGUNIT master datasource to the generic datasource. so that i can get 0ORGUNIT hierarchy and sales grp/office details.

could some one help how to solve this problem.

You don't have to attach the master data datasource to your generic datasource.

Master data is loaded separately from transaction data, so you will see your hierarchy from the moment you loaded it with the 0ORGUNIT hierarchy datasource into your infoobject 0ORGUNIT.

You have to put and fill 0ORGUNIT on your final infoprovaider, updating them in update rules; in that way you can use hierarchy and sales grp/office details.
