Unable to Find attachment in PO output

Hi,

I am facing one issue related to view the attachment in the "message" tab of the purchase order screen. When I go to ME23N and select the "Messages" tab, it shows me the processed output types. I select one processed output type and go to "Edit" tab and select "Display originals". I can find attachment for few POs where as for few POs, I dont find the attachment. What is the reason of not finding attachements in all the POs? What is the purpose of this "Display Original" tab in PO Message screen?

Please advice.

Thanks

Satya

    Hi

It is possible that for the purchase orders where the attachment is missing the storage mode "1 Print only" is set. Please check this in the tab "Communication method".

      Hi Satya

A purchase order is archived optically when the following required settings are available.

      1. The purchase order output type has the storage Mode and Document type(MEOORDER) assigned (Tab : Storage system in output type settings). The relevant storage modes for optical archiving are 2 or 3.

      2. Content repository is set up - Basis config ( Tcode: OAC0 )

      3. The document type ( used in step 1 ) is assigned to a document class (Tcode: OAC2)

      4. Linking object (For PO: BUS2012) and document type ( used in step 1) to content repository. (Tcode : OAC3)

I hope this info helps. Also please check if the below OSS note is relevant for your issue.

      Thanks
