how to install sap java gui

Hi gurus

  can any one help me , how to install sap  java gui, i have sap java net weaver  java system , i want to access that system please help me to fix the  gui

  installation problem.

hello all SAP GUI java-ers

How do I start the SAPGUI client exactly please? When the PLATIN JAR package is extracted:

Configuration is JAVA JDK1.8 which seems to be JAVA8... OK.

Running under UBUNTU15.10 which is very agreeable..Ok

When under FILE mgr, is see:  SAPClients/SAPGUI/bin/ guilogon and guistart

==> However when I doubleclick guilogon , a /bin/sh start script starts for PlatinGUI .....not the program itself.

What should I do now please???

I am not a hardened linux shell programmer.
