How to Add an 'attachment description' field to all transactions which include an attachment URL, and save this on a notification

Hi All,

Could you please help on the below requirement.

I have a attachment URL . Now i want to display the Description or name of the attachment in place of URL. When i click the description or name it has to trigger the URL.

    hi sudhir,

    In a scenerio of send an attachment through program i have faced this type issue , i have done it like this . the attachement subject itself is the attacment description. hope you can do like this.

    the code is like this :

    * * Attach the File, the Attachment type should be BIN to accept any kind of attachment

    * Including Videos, Audio files Etc..

    CALL METHOD cl_document_bcs=>create_document
    EXPORTING
    i_type = 'BIN'
    i_subject = 'Employe Terms and Cond PDF Attachment' "mail_subject
    * i_length =
    * i_language = SPACE
    * i_importance =
    * i_sensitivity =
    i_text = lt_message_body
    * i_hex =
    * i_header =
    * i_sender =
    RECEIVING
    result = lo_document.
    CATCH cx_document_bcs .
    ENDTRY.

    *Add attachment
    TRY.
    lo_document->add_attachment(
    EXPORTING
    i_attachment_type = 'PDF'
    i_attachment_subject = ' Application for mail PDF attachment' " attachment Description
    i_att_content_hex = t_att_content_hex ).

    CATCH cx_document_bcs INTO lx_document_bcs.

    ENDTRY.
