Short text in production orders

Hi, gurus

I have a strange problem with text in production orders.

So, i have a production orders with type PP01 and after creating, in CO02-CO03 i can not see a short text, only the number of production orders.

In PPPI everything OK and there are short texts.

In OPL8 there are all settings. There are setted the Routing selection.

i saw the same problemm in topic http://scn.sap.com/thread/1285173

but it was not solved😔

    Could you please explain which short text you are referring to?

    • The short text needs to be copied to field KTEXT in table CAUFV, if it is not present then SAP will not copy it to table M_ORDEB. You need to implement the user-exit I mentioned, it will take only 10 minutes do that.

      Check out the note 305013, excerpt from the note

      For the orders with a material, the short text field is not filled basically.

      In the order maintenance (Transactions CO01, CO02 and CO03), no short text can be maintained for orders with a material.

    Hi Pavel,

    You have to maintain it in routing then only it will copy it to production order. If you dont maintain in Routing header text in Routing, it will copy material description.

    Change it in Routing then create production order.

    If any issue please revert back.
