    Hi Ravi,

You can use the following information to set up e-mail notification

Email notification is used to notify the owners when:
    1. BPF instance is created and actions are taken
    2. Instance is completed and ready to be finalized
    3. Reviewers are notified by e-mail when a step region is ready for review.

E-mail set-up:(By default most of them are in Active mode)

    1. Execute t-code SE38 in BW system.
    2. Enter the program name UJB_MAINTAIN_EMAIL_TMPL and select execute
    3. It opens BPC:BPF Email template table overview.
    4. To see the detail of each template, double click a template.
    5. To activate/de-activate the email notification, click on the icon (pencil/display) to edit. The email template list appears in edit mode.
    6. Change the value in column is Active to yer or no to activate/de-activate.

By default most of them are in Active mode, just need to confirm that all are in Active state
and make sure to configure the mail user in the user definition SU01 transaction

    Thanks
    Aamer

      Cont..

the user should also have the following role assigned to them SAP_BPC_BTCH_JOB

most of the templates above does not have E-mail body for them and if u want to add body then

Copy the "S" email type and then change to ur Customized entry "C" and give them a Body

      Ex:

The Step Region %STEP_REGION_NAME% OF BPF instance "%INST_NAME%" is checked in/out. You can check the instance at the following %URL%

and you can add the following variables to display information in the e-mail to help its recipient:
      %INST_NAME%
      %STEP_NAME%
      %URL%
      %STEP_REGION_NAME%

      Thanks

      Aamer
