Responsive demand planning and Responsive Replenishment Planning

Dear all

I read the following documentation:

I do not see these functionalities in APO. We use SAP SCM 7.0.

Do we need to install something additionally to get these functionalities, or is it used in SAP SNC only?

Is there somebody who used responsive demand planning and responsive replenishment planning, and wat are the advantages?

Hello Peter,

The functionalities which you have mentioned are part of SAP SNC not SAP APO.

APO and SNC are two different functional modules packaged as a part of SAP SCM. I am not a basis expert but I think if SAP SCM 7.0 is installed then you will find a component named SNC(Supply Network Collaboration). Upto SCM 5.0 SNC was named as ICH(inventory Collaboration Hub). SAP have renamed it to SNC.
