zcust_group related issue


in a report the data is displaying like this


000122 10000

000123 2900

MARK 40000

TUBA 400000

AMITH 38900

The user wants to see the names of the groups first then the numbers.what we have done is we just sorted it.and shown the names first and then the numbers.







But now my user wants to see the names first starting with A and in order

could you plz help me to resolve this issue

    Well that is not possible if you sort it coming A first than the numbers come also before that :) now you basically just reversed the sort order starting with z down to the numbers..

    You would have to create a sort order characteristic with an abap logic during the load to be able to achieve this. The new char you could use to sort but hide it in Bex
