Active user list who use sapgui

Dear All,

We are in process of upgrading from ehp4 to ehp6, now there is mandatory update that needs to be done for the sapgui frontend.

so I have been trying to take out the list of R3 users that is who use only sapgui to logon excluding the ESS users, (portal).

I have tried the SUIM tool by selecting users by userid using * , by this is not convincing also I have tried to pull data from

SE 16 using USR06 table and then selecting license type also but still reference and communication userids are pulled up .

Does any one have a simple way of getting  the correct data, Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

AvinashR

    Hi,

You may use the report RSUSR200 in SE38.

    - List all the users from USR02 (This will contain the non-dialog users as well)

    - Execute the report RSUSR200 in SE38

    - Enter the users from USR02

    - Check the option 'Dialog Users' in the section 'Selection by User Type' and execute.

The output will contain all the dialog users along with other information such as the last logon date etc. Run the report in the background.

    Cheers!!

    Hi,

    Please review this thread.

    http://scn.sap.com/thread/137614

Implementing the userExit you can even have the SAP GUI version that the users are using. In this way you can avoid a lot of upgrades.

    Cheers.
