Hi Experts ,

I meet bellowed issue.

I book sales order:   160  qty,  split to 3 schedule lines :  -

Confirm Qty 20 pcs

Create DO

Actual DO Qty = 20  pcs

Manually change the DO qty to 30

Due to the changes ,  the extra 10 pcs delivery qty assigned  to  schedule line on 15.08.2013 without confirmation , the confirm qty is 0 .

Actually I don't want to see such result, because it make user confuse. Can I control that delivered qty isn't more than confirmed qty? that is, When I change deliveried qty in delivery notes, it give a error message?

Hello,

Go to T-Code 0VLP (zero VLP) & open your Delivery Item Category (same as Sales Order Item Category).

Here undre Quantity there is a box for AvailCkOff. Ensure that nothing is entered here &it is left blank. This setting will re-check the Availability of the stock at time of Delivery & not allow the user to increase the Delivery Quantity more than available quantity.

If your client permits, you can also explore the option (Z-development) of making the Quantity field in Delivery as non-modifiable.

Thanks,

Hi Jignesh,

Can you please explain briefly in order to set the qty field in delivery as non- modifiable.

"If your client permits, you can also explore the option (Z-development) of making the Quantity field in Delivery as non-modifiable."

Best Regards,

Navaneeth.

Hi

Please, read question 1 in SAP Note 547508 - FAQ: Schedule line overview and ATP. As the note explains, the delivery is made from SO item, not from schedule lines and what is the purpose of schedulling and ATP. For further information related with the confirmation dates, refer to SAP Note 548510 - FAQ: Confirmation function in R/3, confirmation schedule lines.

I hope this helps you

Looks like by the time when you changed your quantity someone else order reserved quantity availble on 1.08.2013.

Not clear with below statement, provide information:

"

Hi Ginee,

You can control delivery quantity through delivery item category level T code : 0VLP .

As " Raj K " suggested make use of the field "check over delivery " with option B . It gives error and not allow you to create delivery when you enter more than order quantity in delivery level.

Try with the above option
