BOM Explosion Quantity....

hi,

i am using FM <b>CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2</b> it gives the BOM of the Particular Material Entered, now my reqt. is that i shud give the Quantity of the Material also so that it will give the qty. of the material reqd. to make that material, is there any FM for this, i have done this by using queries taking data from tables etc. etc. is there any FM for this if so then let me know.

It will be from material master of components . But I guess UOM is insignificant . You may leave this parameter. See in CS03 it does not ask for UOM of the assembly part but it displays UOM of components.

Try putting your qutntity in the EMENG parameter.

Hhave you tried using same FM and pass the quantity in parameter EMENG.

just one clarification more reqd. in this regard if i enter qty. of a material & its uom is Kgs., then all the BOM qty's will be in Kgs, or the one specied in Material master.
