Movement Type ZZ1 & Reversal

Hi All,

I have moved a material from Unbond Location to Bond Location using Movement Type ZZ1 by error causing it to Hit the RG1 Register. This particular material was not to hit the RG1 Register and was to be moved using Movement type 311. Is there a way i can reverse the material from a Bond Location to Unbond location?

Hi Deep.

This is a Z movement type so I supoose it is built in house.  There must be a reversal of this movement type too. Can you try to reverse the document posting by using that movement type.

It will then allow you to do 311 posting.

Hope it helps

Thank you guyz for the help. As of now I do not know if there is a reversal movement type. I will ask my consultant. Thanks for the feedback though.

Hi Dave,

Your system surely will have a reversal movement type for ZZ1 and  do the reverse with the same(may be ZZ2) or cancel the material document via MIGO or MBST, effect will get reversed, system will automatically will pick the reversal movement for Z11.

Hi Deep,

Movement type ZZ1 is a custom movement type. please provide more details like from which standard movement type this movement type was created. this will explain why the RG1 register is getting hit. usually when we create a new custom movement type ,then we also create the movement type reversal. for example if i have created a new movement type ZZ1 by copying the standard movement type 101, then i will also created ZZ2 movement type by copying the movement type 102.

Please check for the reversal of the custom movement type ZZ1 and reverse the document.
