Non-cumulative KF:s in MultiProvider

Hi experts,

I need to consolidate data from different non-cumulative cubes in one MultiProvider. However according to the documentation on non-cumulative kf:s this is not recommended (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/80/1a62dee07211d2acb80000e829fbfe/content.htm)

"because this could lead to incorrect query results". What does this mean exactly? Is it always the case that one cannot use many infocubes with non-cumulatives in the same multiprovider, or is it just in som cases and other cases are safe?

Looking for SAP Notes tells me that using non-cumulative kf:s lead to incorrect query results when "An InfoCube is split into several partial cubes by a fixed value restriction on a time characteristic", according to Note 690475 "MultiProvider and non-cumulative key figures". Does this mean that using non-cumulatives from several cubes are safe in other situations?

I would really appreciate your help in this matter! Suggestions for workarounds are also appreciated.

Many thanks,

David
