Errors occurred during the extraction Message no. RJ012

Hi,

I have created function module based generic datasource. When I execute FM from SE37, getting output without any error. But If execute the datasource which is using same FM, getting "Errors occurred during the extraction Message no. RJ012" and its not pulling any records.

Tried to debug from RSA3, but not able to find the issue. Please let me know the reason for this error and how to fix it.

Thanks,

Hemanth

Hi Hemanth, 1) Can you check the DS name mentioned in your FM is same or not. 2) Check that your select should be in * First data package -> OPEN CURSOR IF S_COUNTER_DATAPAKID = 0. ENDIF. "First data package ? and after that * Fetch records into interface table. * named E_T_'Name of extract structure'. Hope it helps you. Regards, Krishna.

This error will come when you don't initialize your datasource. Try to run this DS in RSA3 in F mode.

You can run this in D mode also after initialization in BW.

Are you getting values in the internal table while debugging?

    Hi

RJ012 message can have multiple reason but without context there is little that can be done.

Could also be caused because you don't submit enough selection criteria

    hope it helps

    Hi Hemanth,

Take abap expert and check FM code and passing parameters. if everything is fine then you can debug at RSA3 with help abaper. there might be some issue which your code is not pulling data from base tables.

    Thanks
