Wrong resource type as multimixed in APO?

Wrong resource type is getting created in APO of multimixed type for Machin _001 and labour _002 type from R3 workcentre for machine-001 and labour type -002 categories, R3 workcentre has 001 machine capacity with settiings as 1 .Number of individual capacities = 1 2. Indicator for  can be used by several operations= unchecked 3. Transaction CFC9 has both single and multimixed settings. 4. SPRO -> Integration with other mySAP.com Components -> Advanced Planning and Optimization -> Basic Settings for Setting up the System Landscape -> Specify SAP APO Release' - APO release is mainatined (though not latest) 5 .APO  resource tab is not manitained in WC definition - 002 labour capacity category is having Number of individual capacities = 4 with all other parameters same as above for 001. only doubt is this labour capacity within same workcentre and the APO release in SPRO of R3 is not latest.but the issue is other workcentres with same settings for 001 and 002 are gettting generated correctly like _001 for machin as single mixed and _002 as multimixed due to several capacities for laboure capacity experts opinion are requested...

Dear,

This is correct and standard behavior. As soon as one capacity has more then one individual capacities the resource must be transferred to SCM System as Multi Resource.

Hi Digambar,

Expert Brahmankar is right.  The reource will also be created as a multi-mixed resource if the "can be used by more than one operation" switch is selected even if the number of capacities is 1. 

The APO release needs to be set correctly as it determines which code is executed in CIF.

Even i was thinking on that track but no that was not the reason and as I mentioned another WC is getting populated with correct category as single for 001 and multi for 002. the actual reason was that in workcentre master ate more detailed level under capacities there was a interval and shift maintainance user had defined capacities as 2 and that created a probelm. after correcting that resource is generated correctey now 001 and multi for 002.

Yes you are right same has been mentioned in OSS note

1638210 - Resources created in APO as category "multimixed"

In your Shifts you use in field Number of individual capacities a value greater then 1

As soon as one capacity has more then one individual capacities the resource must be transferred to SCM System as Multi Resource
