How to copy existing Datasources???

Hi Guru!

Thanks to all who have given me the suggestion for my previous Quries..!

Can you guys help me out now!I will post them the max Points for this!

We have an existing Live X BW system 'X'Dev->Qty->Prd and these system are for some 'X'rollout! Now we are doing a new Rollout for other country..!say 'Y'Rollout. here X and Y share 70% of the modelling. So, i need to transport the existing X Dev system Datasources (all FI-Co,LO,)to Y Dev System.

But i am not very sure how to do this...?all i think is to go to RSA6 >Transport >New Req and save it for the Target : Y system....???is it so or not?? if so ..then will this capture all the setting of that datasources??? If not please let me know HOW??Please suggest Immediately!

Thank you...Guru!

    hi,

think no need to save it with target Y, if you have ever transport X Dev to X Qty with dedicated request for these datasources, you can import Rxxx and Kxxx files from X Dev to Y Dev. If not so, you can create new request from Transport connection.

Another way maybe use xml import export but some objects are not supported.
