Hi Alise,

As you pointed out in your previous post, there is a std R/3 Datasource 0BBP_TD_CONTR_2.

What exactly do you want to know, how to transfer this info from R/3 into BW?

Best regards,

Eugene

FIRST OF ALL I CANT FIND THIS DS IN R/3. THIS DS IS IN EBP. CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG. ALSO IF ITS IN R/3 THEN HOW TO BRING IT INTO BW?

Alise,

You need to install your EBP as a source system. In EBP in RSA5 tcode install this datasource and the replicate it in BW. Do you see your DS in RSA5 in EBP.

HI EUGENE

THANKS FOR THE REPLY

BUT IN OUR SYSTEM, CONTRACTS ARE SAVED IN THE BACKEND, R/3 SYSTEM.THIS IS A CLASSIC SCENARIO.

SO USING EBP DATASOURCE (and EBP FIELDS) DOESNT SOLVE THE PURPOSE.

PLEASE ADVISE.

Alise,

If you mean that all data you are interested in are kept in R/3 as purchasing info, then look in R/3 in RSA5 tcode at 2_LIS_02* datasources. But as far as I know, they are mainly about PO, schedules and deliveries.

What about the DS you mentioned, is it seen in EBP?

Best regards,

Eugene

THATS WHERE I AM FACING A PROBLEM.

PURCHASING INFO STORED IN R/3 STANDARD DS, DOESNT HAVE CONTRACT INFO. CORRECT ME FOLKS IF I AM WRONG.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW TO BRING IN INFO FROM R/3 FOR CONTRACTS!

Alise,

I'm afraid that there is no direct way to extract contract information from purchasing info. One and very hard possibility - to analyze MM-tables, locate contract information, create a generic datasource on these tables and make an extraction.

Are you sure that contract information is not kept in EBP?

Best regards,

Eugene

yes generic datasource is the only possibility from R/3. Does anyone know the exact tables and the field for contraccts??

As for EBP, they dont store all contracts in EBP..some in EBP, but all in R/3

there is a table called VEDA. look whether it suits ur needs. build a generic ds out of it if u find that table useful.
