    Dear Venat,

Please mention you requirement, are you mentioning to change the baseline date of a posted billing document?

If yes, then you can change the baseline date through FB02 transaction for the accounting document.

If you want to change the configuration, you can change the same through OBB8 and check the payment term, in the payment terms you can mention a default baseline date settings.

    Hi

Yes. You can change the baseline date of the transaction manually by double-clicking the line item from FBL1N or FBL5N and then change using the change option, save, & refresh.

    Thanks

    Hi Venk

The setting for determination of baseline date is in the definition of payment term itself (check transaction OBB8). You can specify whether the baseline date should be posting date, document date, entry date or it should not be defaulted at all in the posting.

When you change the payment term, it doesn't always change the baseline date. For example, you have two different payment terms (A and B) and in both of them, the radio button 'entry date' is selected as default for baseline date. In the posting, when you change the payment term from A (default) to B, the baseline will not change. It is standard SAP process that baseline always gets determined / redetermined from the payment term. Moreover, the baseline date just gets 'defaulted' in the posting, depending on what you have set up in the payment term - it can be 'changed' manually by the user. Double click on the line item and change the Baseline date.

    Thanks

Also check if the baseline date field is editable in your case.

SPRO > FA (new) > Document > rules for changing document.

BSEG-ZFBDT field for vendor or customer as required should be present.

    thanks

    Hi Venkat,

Baseline item can be changed when document is not cleared. Please make sure that it has not restricted through line item change rules(OB32).

    Best Regards,

    Prasad
