BI4.1 is not in ramp-up any more; it is GA

Have you reviewed BI 4 How To: Desktop Intelligence and the BI4x Platform

    Hi Laurent,

For the Desktop Intelligence Compatibility Pack, please read the following article: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-31798.

In your particular case, the following information would be relevant to you, but overall, the full article will spell it out in much greater detail:

What is the “Desktop Intelligence Compatibility Pack”? When will it be released?

The “Desktop Intelligence Compatibility Pack” will be delivered in Fix Pack (FP) 6.1 which is to be installed over Desktop Intelligence XI 3.1 SP6 desktop product. When installed, it will allow the Desktop Intelligence reports, users, universes and database connections to be managed by the BI 4.1 platform. The estimated release date is mid-year in 2013.

For Dashboard 4.1, it can be found at the following URL: https://service.sap.com/swdc. Depending upon your install, it would then be either under 'Installations and Upgrades' or 'Support Packages and Patches'.

Please let me know if you have any other questions/concerns with this. Thanks in advance,

    -Victor
