Actual Activity conformation is Zero Actual activity price calculation error

Hi experts ,

I have two production cost centers

                            1) Prod - 1

                            2) Prod - 2

All the above cost centers have common activates   -  3 like

                    1) Machine

                    2) Change

                    3) Labour

Activity independent planing and price calculation done for all cost centers & Activities

In Month end Actual  activity price calculation - KSII for production cost centers  System throwing error for cost center - Prod 2 for Change Activity Type.

Cost center  PROD- 2 activity type CHANGE: costs exist although activity 0

Message no. KP250

In Production cost center Prod -2  Change  activity type  conformed   is  Zero

where as cost center  Prod -1 for Change  Activity type  have   conformed values system is calculating without any errors  .

In Actual production process they have not used for this month change activity in Prod -2 .

Zero values system have to calculate actual price Zero for change activity  In Prod -2 cost center   but system is showing error .

Kindly  Guide me

Dear Rajesh

Your worry is natural but at the same time system behavior is also correct. If you try to divided any value by ZERO it will result in error in SAP.

As in your case you are saying that actually CHANGE activity is not performed in this month in cost center then you may go ahead with the results of activity price calculation. System will be asking you in message that 'despite of errors you want to post the result? you click on YES.

Don't worry system will post rest activities correctly.

But I advise you that before going forward you should once again verify that CHANGE activity is not performed in this month.

Hi Rajesh,

Yes, if you don't have actual cost for the period and don't have actual activity confirmed.

the simply skip this cost center and run KSII.If there is no activity confirmed and no actual cost in the Cost Center, then there is no reason of Actual Activity Price Calculation
