Created first Smartform. Clicked Active and Test. Going to FBuilder

Hi All,

I created my first Smartform today. Its really easy to understand. After creating the pages and windows, I checked the form and clicked Active. When I tried to test the form, the window branched to the Function Builder. I can see a function module by default and see the codings too. Now my questions is, when we write program with the ABAP editor in order to have the application data in the form, do we need to call this Funcition module or what???. Is that all is needed or is there something else for connecting the abap program with the form???.

So it will be like this if I am right, Create Pages and Windows layouts using Smartforms and save, active and test. The default FM will be created using the default parameters of Form Interface. The application data to be put in the form is written in a separate ABAP program and the FM module is called in this program.

Experts, please reply me. YOur answers will be highly appreciated.

Thanks and Regards,
