How to Export Crystal Report to Excel With Lines and Boxes?

Hi Experts,

I am working in Crystal Report 2008, I need to export the Report into Excel. But the Problem is , Lines and Boxes in crystal report wont come in Excel.

I need the same format in Excel which is in Crystal Report viewer. My customer wants to Edit the Report in Excel and they may add or Delete the colums.I told them that Its not possible and  They cant accept the Excel Report With out Lines and Boxes,

I searched many Forums, buy i cant get any Corect solution.

please help me.

I am working on the same issue as the thread mentions.Kindly let me know if you have found any resolution to the issue of missing lines and boxes when exporting the report to excel.Thanks

Hi there!

For sure, Crystal Report has not yet incorporated the idea of exporting the lines and boxed to Excel, however, we can suggest the idea to them

I already created or suggested one, we just need to have a 20 above votes for this, please do go to this link and upvote

Can i conclude that "Lines and boxes are not came in Excel and if I will follow some instructions based on that link, then i have a better Excel format."

Or Any other way to achieve this ?.

Becuase With out Lines and boxes, My Report is not good to see. Can you pls suggest some other options ?
