Assigned Object tab for F2 single notification for multiple serial numbers

Hi All,

If i am creating notification by manually using T code QM01 for type F2 then i am able to put multiple serial numbers into Item tab --->assigned objects

But for automatic generation of notification (F2) after result recording it should generate single notification. this is not happening also it's not showing assigned tab into those notifications

i want to generate single notification which can have multiple serial numbers rejection in one lot.

for this we have  already activated required business function.

can some one guide me what is missing in cofig or master data ?

I do not believe it is possible with standard SAP.

This is typically controlled via the inspection type configuration.  In the inspection type config screen you'll see a check box labelled  "One Quality Notification per Inspection Lot".  When this is checked you should get one notification per inspection lot.  However, if you read the F1 help for this indicator you'll see that SAP specifically excludes serial numbered objects.

I've pasted in the F1 help text and bolded the relevant portion.

You might take a stab at OSS and see if there are any consulting notes or advanced developments provided there.

One Quality Notification per Inspection Lot

Use

If this indicator is set, the system tries to combine the defect data for each inspection lot in one notification, if, for example:

Defect data with different report types was recorded for several operations Additional defect data is recorded for a notification that has already been completed. In this case, the notification is set for processing again.

If this indicator is set, defects can only be recorded at operation or characteristic level by one user, since the quality notification is locked for a second user while it is being processed.

If the recorded defects relate to individual objects, the system creates a Q-notification for each object. This applies to the following object types: Serial number Equipment Functional location

thanks for reply. you are correct, i also checked this before still i am expecting an alternative.

i am wondering that after activating business function "OPS_QM_NOTIFICATION" it works for manual notification only not for automatic  .

we are using EHP6 package.

can somebody suggest anything standard. or i will have to go for development...
