Problem download DME File codepage

Hi people,

We are starting to use an unicode server and when we download the DME file through RFFO* programs, it is not outcoming correct, lines are suposed to have 400 columns, but they is going up to 1024.

We tryed to use a lot of codepages(4102,4110,1100...) and none of them is correct.

Some one know how can we solve this?

Hi Marcelo,

in order to analyze this problem in more detail, you need to describe the difference between the same file in Unicode and in Non-Unicode. Is the content (characters)  the same in both cases ? Do you use special characters ? What are exactly the differences ?

Hi Nils, Thanks for reply.

The characters are the same with no special characters, the problem is that, the LINE FEED on position 400 is not working instead lines are breaking at position 1024.

I solved this simple by downloading and then uploading with function GUI_UPLOAD ASC MODE

the data after it is uploaded to the PC...
