currency converstion

Hi friends

i have issue we are implementing this project one of the company in india . where the client has requirment . where client would like to see the figures in cores and lakhs . ie . he wan to see like this . sales -3.4 cores

usally in bw we find reports with data like this sales:- 340000000 INR right . in place of INR is there any possiblity where we can provide saying this figure is in cores or lakhs or hundreds etc .

2. how to do the currency converstion in the BEX. what are the prequist for doing the currency coverstion in the reports . can anyone provide me anykind of step by step doucment how to do this . or help me how to do it . thanks mates . look forward to your valuble replays . everyanswer is highly apperciable and rewarded . look forward to your replays ASAP. Hi,

1. you can use the scaling factor option available in the Properties of the key figure to set the scaling in Lakhs/crores. Moreover to say that it is in Lakhs/Crores modify the description of the Key figure and mention the same there.

2. For Currency translation you need to define a Currency Translation key (txn RRC1) and assign the same to the Key figure in the Properties in the BEx report.
