More than 1 output from PP order

Hi Experts,

A sales order or a purchase order can have more than 1 item. Like wise for a PP order can we have more than 1 output material ? And then for all of such output materials can we make a GR with 101 movement type ?

For example - material XYZ is an input / order component. And materials ABC, PQR, EFG are the output materials generated from a PP order by consuming material XYZ. So how to map this so that we can generate ABC, PQR & EFG from a single production order ?

I know using the concepts of co-products / by-prodcuts we can do this. But I am looking for some more alternatives.

So please provide the advise on this....

    Hi Manish,

    Your thought is right.

Let me tell you a scenario also, example we are cutting different shapes of steel parts from sheet, which is usually cut through laser cut. So here your input material is 1 where as output are many.

You can customize this application to generate productions orders collectively for this requirement. But GR you have to do for individual production orders or develop some customized program where you club the orders from same consumption material and do GR. But i feel we can not club all output material in one order and do GR from one order.

Hope scenario explained and suggestion helped you.
