Hello Everybody,

Am not unable to go further in E-Separation once Employee initiation is created thereafter workflow is not getting triggering for manager.By doing some analysis i found this Function module FM_EA_APPROVAL_START where am passing the Request Number to this it is working fine.

Do we need to run this Function module every time once employee is created or else is there any process to do this.We are using EHP6 portal version.

We are maintained entries in V_T77WWW_EAAUG Approvers configuration table as well. Please do let me know for better understanding on this E-Separation module.

i found this link for approvers http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_06/helpdata/en/b7/405a2b2d1e4cf989fb0799250c5e03/frameset.htm

Thank You

Dear Praveen,

After e separation intiation process you have to this report twice after that system will process to next level means (approval).

HINUEATP: This standard report is used for trigger approval, dues clearance and exit interview
workflow. Report is configured as a background job in R/3

Thanks

Hi Siva,

we also configuring E-separation. after employee initiates the request, it went to Manager's queue but not the Approval queue. after that Manager assign a counselor and after successfully completed the counselling, the requesting not get triggering to Manager for further approval. in table  V_T77WWW_EAAUG i have assigned with fixed User. even it is not triggering to manager for approval. please let me know is there any changes required in workflow to trigger to manager? also please guide me how to assign with a function module to get the approver in table V_T77WWW_EAAUG. it is not allowing us to give any function module rather it is defaulting with FM_EA_DET_ID automatically if we  do so. please guide me how to configure with function module to get the Approver. please help.

thanks.

Hi,

I have done config. for both Counsellor and Approver in SPRO node for workflows WS77900165(counsellor) & Ws77900166(Approver).

When Employee Initiates a record is created in Reporting manager view, where Reporting Manager selects counsellor and forwards. This creates a record in counsellor view and starts the counsellor workflow. On approval from counsellor view the record again goes to Reporting Manager view from where we are able to approve and complete workflow by choosing 'Successfull' and then save.

After this action we execute the report HINUEATP to change the status of the request to IP (In Process). The status is changes successfully.

But as Shiva suggested to execute the report twice, even after executing the report multiple times Approver workflow (WS77900166) is not triggered.

The Approver workflow (WS77900166) gets triggered by executing FM FM_EA_APPROVAL_START, is this a standard process that we need to execute this FM? How is the Approval workflow triggered?

Hi Neha,

We are at the development stage of e-separation. We're facing the same issue. After the employee raises a request, we run report HINUEATP twice, but there is no effect. Only when we run the FM FM_EA_APPROVAL_START,  the request moves further.

Could you solve your problem? If yes, let me know how you did it?

Hi All,

We are also facing exactly same issue for e-seperation approval . Approval is not getting triggered after running HINUEATP report. Workflow is triggered after running FM FM_EA_APPROVAL_START.

Neha / Urvi

Let me know if anybody of you have resolved the issue .

Gauri.
