My client which went live this Oct 2016 and did not upload legacy asset master data until now wants us to upload data for them now in Feb.
We have a custom program in place for this purpose which is split into 2 parts:
1. We upload asset master data separately.
2. We upload takeover values then.
The only thing is it does not have separate fields for NBV and depreciation posted although it has fields for transactions.
Can please help to answer below questions:
1. Is it ok to not have all the fields for takeover values and just have transaction details?
2. Is OASV still required to be carried out after the legacy data upload or its not required because of the current fiscal year?
