Dear All,
I have a scenario where if we raise a purchase order for specific grade of some x material but the goods receipt may be other grade of the same material x. and finally when the finish good is produced the grade of it totally depends upon the temperatures we maintain. so the grade of the finish good is variable. so for this scenario i thought of using batch management. i think i choose the right one.
But my problem is, the finish good produced has different selling price depending upon the grade. so where can i specify the cost for individual grade which is maintained in a batch. please help me out.. (sponge iron manufacturing)
thanks and regards
vamsi
Hi Vamsi
I believe that you can use split valuation in this scenario. Check the following link for more details...
