How to get the field name in mapping or UDF?

Hi gurus,

Can we get the field name in message mapping or UDF? In our scenario, the value of the destination field should be the field name for the source field. Have you ever met the same issue?

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Its better to go for Java / XSLT mapping. Though it would be tedious but at runtime you can easily define Target filed name same like Source field. In SCN, you can find lot of blogs.

      Thanks all.

By using UDF we can only dynamically set the field name dynamically according to the value of the source field. Finally we managed to use XSLT to get the field name of the source field and give it to the value of the destination field.

You can use the XSLT mapping to do this. Refer the thread below.
