At times, image files (.gif) contain also texts.
I usually create a folder in the mime repository for each language I want to support.
In the BSP view I build the name of the mimes concatenating the sy-langu (translated via the ISOLA conversion exit).
Anybody knows a clever method?
Thanks a lot,
Sergio
There is a way to create mult-language versions of your Mimes. Your system does have to be setup in a special way (setup a translation language originator I beleve).
This is nice though so that you can just upload a language version. Then in your code you reference a single mime and SAP will automatically choose the correct one for the current logon language.
Here is a screen shot of what it looks like in the mime repository:

In addition to the OSS notes I reference there are steps to setup a system as a translation system. I didn't do that at our company but there is a 100 page document that you can download from the Service Marketplace on how to do the setup (of course it has sections on worklists and translation groups, etc). If you run SE63 - the first time you will get a popup window that tells you the OSS note number to get that document from.
