Long Text Editor in Routing

This issue has been reported after Technical Upgrade - ECC 5.0 to ECC 6.0 EHP6.

Operation long text editor in CA02 doesn't look the same after upgrade. Please refer the attached screenshots.

What needs to be done, in order to have all MS Word options, same as ECC 5.0?

    Hi Omkar,

    As per SAP note

Note 791199 - Default editor changed to MSWord in SAPscript and SmartForms

MSword comes as a default editor from 640 release.

You may use report RSCPSETEDITOR to switch back to older format.

    Hope this helps.

      Hi Deepak,

      Thanks for your reply.

I have found the reason for this difference in MS Word toolbar, between ECC 5.0 and ECC 6.0

If Word is used as editor inside of SAP with the latest word template (see notes 1091389 and 1452849), only these menu tool bars which are useful to be used inside of the SAP are now available.

SAP can't handle Windows fonts. The SAP can only handle graphics which were uploaded via transaction SE78. Therefore it is not useful to put any Windows graphic into the SAP standard text and therefore this menu was deactivated. The SAP can only use tables which were defined in the Smartform/PDF-based form, therefore it is not useful to define any Word tables in the SAP standard text.

Finally, ABAP correction note 1452849 was missing in our ECC 5.0 system.
