Wrong system status update via IP30 transaction

Hello,

     I am facing a strange issue while processing maintenance plans via IP30 transaction. The maintenance plans I am using, generate notification with status 'OSNO OSTS' when processed via IP10 transaction (which is correct), but they generate notification with status 'ATCO OSNO' when processed via IP30 transaction (which is wrong). Please advise me what could be the possible reason for such a behaviour.

Give us more details like

1. What kind of Plan you are scheduling
2. What are the respective details in plan & other dependent documents

Also, check for inconsistency in status either in google or forum or service portal. We are not sure about your SAP version. There are some SAP notes that speak about status inconsistency in notification. Please search.

Thanks for your response.

I understand that the maintenance plan is of type 'PZ' (Maintenance plan notification) which is created for test purpose. The issue is correct status is updated for notification with direct processing through transaction IP10 (restart option), whereas, with IP30 transaction we get the wrong status 'ATCO OSNO' for notification (by choosing to schedule immediately).

Other details:

-Plan Sort field is 'NCKN10-007'

-HUNIT (Unit in scheduling interval) is 'DAY'

I will still check for some related SAP notes and try to get more information from the functional person.

If anyone has come across a similar issue, please help me.

Are you using any developments in the notification?

Also, are you using automatic task determination?
