Receive sales return stock as restricted.

Hi ,

User receive some stocks through sales return. When ever plant receive these materials, the stock should go to restricted stock instead of unrestricted stock and should allow to transfer back to unrestricted stock later.

What is the best approach to address this requirement. Kindly let me know whether stock can be received as GR-Blocked stock(103,105 Mov. Type)?

Hi Santosh,

The control is in your schedule line

SPRO > Sales and Distribution > Sales > Sales Documents > Schedule lines > Define Schedule Line Categories

SPRO > Sales and Distribution > Sales > Sales Documents > Schedule lines > Assign Schedule Line Categories.

if you maintain 657 movement type, the respective stock will be blocked. After that you can move it to unrestricted.
