Cannot find infoobject to enhance the cube

Hi All,

I have a infoobject dealer of which 0tel_number is an attribute, I have the 0tel number in the datasource(flat file) but it is not in the cube, Dealer is in the cube as well as datasource, I was trying to add 0tel_number to the cube but I am not able to find in the Template, do you think its because its attribute only???

Hi,

Try to locate infoarea of the IO: RSDIOBCIOBJ table.

Hi Eugene can you please be more specific how to do that?

Execute SE16 tcode, type the table name RSDIOBCIOBJ, put your IO name into IOBJNM field and execute (F8). You'll see infoarea were your IO is sitting.

Thanks for the reply eugene, i am able to find it in infoarea but when i try to change the cube and try to add the IO to the cube it is not shown in the right side template are, may be its because 0tel_number is attribute only???

Hi Shetty,

It is a valid reason that 0tel_number is not available for use in the InfoCube because it is an attribute only. You can check for this property in RSD1 if you like...

yes u r right, Normally the charateristic attributes are not available in cube, but those will be there in ods.
