I have three ODS which are based on the Sales extractors 2LIS11, 2LIS12 and 2LIS13. We now have now created a global Master Data InfoProvider which loads from the InfoSource via update rules.

The InfoProvider is based on the R/3 field VBELN (Document Number) and is compounded with the R/3 field POSNR (Item Number). It also has some attributes. The thought is load this InfoObject with Data and than make the object available to all three ODS which as a Data Field. The 3 ODS keys are all based on VBELN and POSNR but have different InfoObjects for the keys respectively. Could someone confirm that I only need to add the one InfoObject or would I also need to add Compounded and for reporting the required attributes. Thanks

First question you need to ask is, do you need the attributes on sales order level or on the combination of sales order and salesorder item. If the attributes should be stored on sales order item, then the info-object POSNR should have a compound with VBELN.

For the sales extractors you should also check if they all extract the sales order and the sales order item. In the transfer rules, or update rules you should translate the field for sales order and sales order item to the info-object names you have chosen for your info-object. In this way you can use the attributes of these info-objects.
