Hi Experts,
I have developed the Purchase Order layout in CR 2008.
1)I could able to get the print preview of the Purhase order when it is saved as Draft(ORDF)
2) when generating the PO and before adding it , the user could see the preview and print it. I mean user havnt saved as draft here.
now, in this both the scenario i want a label as "Draft" in the top/bottom of the PO to identify the status of the document. How to do it ?
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Dwarak

Hi Dwarak,
You can set a parameter in the report.
In the report, have a text object that says "Draft". The parameter will trigger whether the text object displays or not.
If you are running the report from an application, have your application set the parameter based on the actions of the user.
I did a slightly more complicated version by using a JPG that displayed diagonally down the page as a watermark. Again, the watermark was triggered by a parameter. The drawback to this is the watermark made the filesize of the report very large and slow to load.
Hope this helps,
Brian

Hi Dwarak,
What tool are you printing the report from?
If you don't have the text 'Draft' in your report, I dont' see a way to print that dynamically in the report.
