Hi Experts,
We are not able to poll the files from the FTP Location in SAP PI 7.3.
The channel is working fine and files are available in the FTP Location(Basis team confirmed).
We have given delete mode in the channel and the files from the FTP location are deleted and at the same time we are not getting the files into PI.
On seeing the logs from client the PI is connecting to the FTP location and retrieving the file and after sometime it is getting disconnected.
After that file is not in the FTP folder and not reached the PI too.
We tested by creating a new channel as well. It is too throwing the same error.
Another scenarios connecting to the other FTP locations are working fine. So no issues from our end.
Client confirmed that they didnt change anything recently.
Kindly guide us to resolve the issue.
Regards,
Swathika.
Hi Swathika,
Check with your network team why the connection is getting disrupted. You mentioned channel is throwing an error? Whats the error ?

Hi swatika,
Check if some other channel is having the same file name you are trying to pick from the FTP server.
Thanks,
Naveen.

Hi,
Did you try with Test mode?
>>After that file is not in the FTP folder and not reached the PI too.
are you sure the same FTP directory is not polled by some other channel?
do you see any kind of message in IE during that time?

Zameer
