Initial entry (P0016-EINDT) not updated when I re-hire

Hi,

Any idea how to make the field initial entry (P0016-EINDT) updated when personnel action re-hire is done? What we need is to copy P000-BEGDA.

The field is updated nicely when original hire is done but then that date stays with re-hire even if person has been away (naturally or we wouldn't need to do a re-hire). This is really bad since benefits are counted based on the length of the employment.

Re-hire consists of infotypes and the method is COP. There is no dynamic action.

A prompt answer is highly appreciated. We are working with SAP ECC 6.0 SAP_HR 604.

write a dynamic action via SM30 for action Infotype  via SM30, table name V_T588M and give infotype 0000.

look at this sample Dynamic action here i have taken desition key as country group 40 and assume that your re-hring is K1. if both true then P0000-BEGDA will be default for P0016-EINDT in background.

Hello,

I'm afraid it didn't help. We have molga 44 and our action is Y2, so it's a customised one but P0000-BEGDA and P00016-EINDT are standard ones and the infotypes with COP, i.e. copied.
