Forecast for sales and procurement planning

Hi Experts,

I seek help in the below stated scenario.

1. Customers provide me with a 6 month schedule. Out of this first month is a firm fixed requirement(dispatch schedule) for the current month and rest 5 months are tentative requirement.

2. the production process involves use of imported material which has a procurement lead time of 4-5 months.

Now the current month can be entered as Sales Order (with schedule lines) and this will send the requirements to MD04 for production planning.

The remaining plan (which can change being tentative schedule) needs to be entered somewhere based on which the procurement team can plan for import material.

Also the next month, when I get the firm fixed schedule, this forecast should not be treated as a production requirement instead the actual order (firm fixed order only) should be considered i.e. avoid double requirement (forecast+actual schedule).

I am not able to get the same even after a lot of trials and browsing through questions. Also SNOP is out of scope so a very basic level of solution is required.
