Delivery created with VL01NO not showing up in MD04

We have created a delivery with VL01NO. When we view MD04 for the material on the delivery, nothing is showing up. we have the material set up with an availability check, and with a MRP type of PD, becuase I saw several other threads that seemed to imply these fields are important to the MD04 data selection. I checked the delivery, and the item on the delivery has the plant, storage location, shipping point, etc, and is a standard item (POSAR).

We just can't seem to get the delivery to show up in MD04, and this is extremely important to us.

Hi David

There is a configuration that needs to setup to turn on outbound delivery document number update in MD04.

This means if there is an STO in MD04 which is converted into outbound delivery, MD04 should now show outbound delivery number instead of an STO

Follow this path and set up the document type of your outbound delivery in it

Logistics execution -> Shipping -> Basic SHipping Functions -> Availability Check and transfer of requirements -> transfer of requirements -> Determination of Requirement Types using transaction

Hi David,

I got this problem yesterday. I checked the material master record and noticed that the strategy group 40 is not maintained. If you maintain the relevant strategy group, delete the old OBD and raise a new one, the new OBD will be visible in MD04. Please try this.
