How to feed 'N001' in IDOC's control record 'EDIDC-SNDPRN'

Hi friends,

Please Guide me on following topic :-

Q] <b>In XML-XI-IDOC scenario,

if XML file name is N001_ABC.XML, then I want to feed

'N001' in IDOC's control record 'EDIDC-SNDPRN'.How to

do this???????? Inspite of Logical name of XI

server</b>

Reason of above requirment is below:-

Actualy INBOUND IDOC is posted in SAP only if

field 'EDIDC-SNDPRN' containes customer name.

with 'KU'.

But in my XI implimentation IDOC's 'EDIDC-SNDPRN'

field is filled with 'XI server logical Name'

(i.e. XIDCLNT135) with 'LS'. So Inbound IDOC is

not posted in SAP system. But if I change only

'EDIDC-SNDPRN' with 'N001' in WE19, IDOC will

successfully posted.

Thanks & Regards

    Hi,

you can try using adapter module:

this way you can map the file name to one of the

tags in the XML and then you can use it inside your mapping

    /people/sap.user72/blog/2005/07/15/copy-a-file-with-same-filename-using-xi

the second solution would be to create different folders for different filenames ( if you have 2 or 3 systems)

then apply a contant inside your mapping

if you want to do it this way you'll have to define many communication channels but you won't have to

    use adapter modules

but the first way is much better

    Hi Umesh,

u have to configure a headerfieldmapping in Receiver Agreement on Sender Party with X-Path on mapped field SNDPRN of EDI_DC40. In the Headerfieldmapping/Party-Editor put Field Schema: ALE#KU.
