Listcube: show name in columns, not technical name

Hi,

in listcube (MultiProvider -> show data) I would like to print the name of the Infoobjects in the columns, not the technical name as per default. I know that I can resize the columns so that the name is being shown - but I would like to see the name per default, without resizing of the columns.

Where can I find the appropriate setting?

Hi Steve,

     As there is no standard way and default settings to get description instead of technical name. But there is a workaround.

1. First expand all the columns, so that it shows descriptions.

2. Save as layout, before saving click on 'change layout'

3. Goto 'Display tab' and uncheck the option 'Optimize Columns' and save it.

4. Then click on save layout and give name ( if you want you can override the default settings - I didn't try it).

Try overriding the default settings, if not possible choose the layout whenever you use Listcube. It always shows description.

Hi Steve,  i guess there is no setting like that , You can export to excel and do this easily.  Hope this helps...

As said by Suresh, we don't have any such a option for setting descriptions in listCube.
