I have a few production servers that I've added to RSC that are not showing up in the Introscope Invevstigator or the console. However, the servers are showing up on my early watch report. I'm not sure why they're not displaying in Introscope. I've done landscape checks several times last week and everything checks out.
Hi Rob
Restart the SMD Agent, SIA and Tomcat on the missing managed host. Then provide the logs from /usr/sap/DAA/SMDA98/SMDAgent/logs and /usr/sap/ccms/wily/logs (you may need to adjust the path according to your installation)
Thanks
Toby

Hi Rob,
Sorry for the delay in my reply.
I found this in the log that indicates an issue with P4 (the RSC secure communication protocol)
Offline mode activated (no p4 connection url found in runtime.properties)
Could you please try the following kb article? It should reset the P4 properties.
1585018 - How to reset a failed lock on a managed host to resolve communication issues
http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1585018
If this doesnt work we can have a meeting next week to troubleshoot in person.
Thanks,
Toby
BTW is that a DRI logo in your scn profile?
Toby,
No worries on the response. I tried the above suggestion and no errors were found in the landscape check. However, it is still not showing up in introscope. I'm available to discuss next week. Propose a time and I'll make time for this.
And yes... That is a DRI logo. I still have their first tape from when it first came out .
