Dear all,
I might not be the first one who is asking this but as I'm currently helping out a customer who will be rolling out FI/CO all over the world I would need some help regarding general settings and local restrictions and/or tax regulations. Therefore can you help me out with a table covering all relevant countries who have special restrictions which we need to have in mind when rolling out our SAP template there?
From my personal experience I do remember that the BRIC countries are pretty tough so we're looking for local experts there to help us with the roll-out there. However I don't know what other restrictions we will confront when going to SE Asia. Is there a common SAP checklist which I could use to go through or provide to our client in order to cover all relevant settings? I was googling SAP country specific settings and SAP roll-out checklist but without success.
Looking forward to your support guys.
Thanks,
Phil
Hi Phil,
Although this is a very general and open question, you can still check the Country specific collective SAP Note - Note 1375438 - Globalization Collection Note.
Also, Note 641257 helps you understand the country install program (O035).
But please note that it is always wise to search for country specific sub-module specific SAP Notes.
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
Zub
