Hi all,
I've got a problem with a logo on a Smartform.
The logo is coming from a BMP file with a white background.
The bitmap is uploaded with SE78.
When the form is printed, the white background of the bitmap turns into a light grey teint.
Anybody has a suggestion how to keep the white background white and not grey?
Regards
Wouter

Hello Wouter,
i think you may choose black and white logo in se78, if so make it to color bitmap image .

Hi Wouter,
When you create a Logo in BMP, Choose the No Background option. I am not sure what software you use to edit a BMP file. If you use a MS Paint or Snagit for editing a image you will have a option called No Background. then the Image will be like this
Hope this solves your problem

Sorry guys, but your replies are not the solution to my problem.
I get the idea that the problem lies within the import of the bitmap into SAP.
The background color in photoshop or any other tool is perfectly fine.
But SAP somehow converts the RGB value 'FFFFFF' into something else.

Exactly Wauter.
That is what i am telling. Check my previous solution.
I am saying it is the program with the BMP Image. So when you edit the Image in MS Paint or Snag It or Photoshop or whatever the software is. Choose No Background to the Image and then Upload in the System via SE78. Then use that Image in your smartform. that would be fine. Hope you got it.

Hi Wouter,
This is a frequently encountered problem and the typical fix is that suggested by Ramesh. If you've tried this and it doesn't work there may be another problem, but just because the image looks clean in a Windows application doesn't mean that the fix is found elsewhere.

Nick

Hi,
Upload the logo with a 256 colour depth and type .bmp. Should help you get the white background.
