ST05 various column meanings

Hi guys,

I'm analyzing performance of the programs on our projects. and I run ST05 to check results.

But I don't really understand the meanings of some columns.

any advice would be really appreciated.

Hi Aaron,

The DB Interface Cursor is used for the communication between SAP and the database.

The recs show the number of read/modified records by the statement.

I think that the array is some kind of data set, but that's a guess...

You're running a trace to determine performance?  Wouldn't ST03n or STAD be better suited for this?

Not if you want to make a deep dive into your sql performance..

Valid point, but for all we know ST05 was the result of a google search and could be the wrong tool for the info they are looking to obtain.    Was looking for more information on the situation and how we arrived at ST05, basically.
